When i can prove somebody wrong. And today, ShadowAdler, its your turn. A response to ' RDA for actual thought'. Now much as i initially wanted the government to be wrong (ever anti establishment), we do actually need calcium. And cavemen did get it. Hit the jump to find out why..perhaps our collective learning will justify how long this took me.

As you all know, i am very aware of the one post per day rule, however, i am sure Scuzz will understand why i am posting right now, and will probably bump it to Sunday..always a quiet one. Lol. I think its fairly obvious that i am 'the female in question', and could not agree more with ShadowAdler that when it comes to this site, our personal lives should remain very seperate. In fact, i cannot deny i am somewhat surprised he even posted at all. However, we shall start as we mean to go on, and if this site is the chosen medium, so be it. As we are all aware, the jurisdiction of this site falls to Scuzz, and if he wants to remove these posts once everyone has had their say on my personal life, i'm sure there will be a few BBC tech links in their places in the next few days. I apologise to every author for the fact the two worlds have crossed over, and to every reader...it must be infuriating when you don't know the full story. Hit the jump to read it.

Welcome to today's Britain. As reported in msn today, to whom i will give credit where its due, we are a top heavy nation, with the number of people above 77 greater than those under 16, full of crime, smokers, singletons and obesity. Reading the fact that 82% of people prefer to spend their spare time watching television is enough to make me despair. Let me clarify something before i start to sound hypocritical.

As Scuzz has (bless) been using fillers for the last few days, and i've been somewhat absent, i decided its time for an entry. As it happens, i've had writers block. You know, the frustrating lack of inspiration where you can read vast quantities of news, and yet everything just sinks into your brain with nonchalance. I think that extends to life, too, a sort of 'life block', where nothing can rouse you from a cloud of indifference. There is inspiration all around me. On my left is a stack of books for a particularly interesting essay i'm currently writing about immigration and ethnic minorities in Europe. Cue stereotypical tory rant about how they're 'stealing our jobs', conteracted by my own dumb knowledge that i would not be able to do ANYTHING without Polish bus drivers, the fact i intrinsically LIKE human kind and think everyone has the right to migrate, and various other head-battles. On the tv is some 80's movie about some doctor, which is littered with sub-plots of romance. I could talk about the changing face of romance, how on the train today there was a teenage couple eating face and still looking dissatisfied with life, whereas 50 years ago a rose was all it took. I watched a programme about Christiano Ronaldo, who is, as with all footballers, ridiculously overpaid, another one of my pet hates, and yet all i can think about is how damn HOT he is.

There are four symptoms of Internet Addiction: 1. Losing track of time 2. Neglecting basics such as eating or sleeping 3.Cravings or feelings of withdrawal, including anger, when a computer cannot be accessed 4. Increased need for better computer equipment and/or software " In South Korea, which has the highest broadband usage worldwide, 10 People have died from blot clots from sitting down too long in internet cafes. It has been recognised as a clinical disorder." Look like we're all fucked tbh.

...is Steak and Blowjob day. And as its already been mentioned on the site, and there is a 20,000 member facebook group about it, its current, its controversial, and its interesting. Thus, i am fulfilling the requirements that i believe this site should have for its blog postings. No offense to Mataspore's recent 'ramblings' post, imaginative and intelligent as it was, its just not my thing. As the only female author on this site, i think i should give an insight into my opinion of today. The facebook group and website's intro descriptions both go something like this. I paraphrase. "Every year on february 14th, men go to huge effort and worry in order to show their girlfriend/wife/fiance/fuckbuddy that they care about them. They book a restuarant, put on a shirt, buy flowers, and worry about finding the perfect gift. The smile we get if we get it right is priceless, but nevertheless the effort is phenomenal and stressful. So on March 14th, it should be the blokes turn. No flowers. No cards. No sentimental crap. Just a good steak and a blowjob, to show you care." Couldn't agree more to be honest. But it does depend on the circumstances. For example. My good friend waited around for ages on Valentines day. The bloke hadn't booked a restuarant, didn't arrange anything, and only bought her a card. She ended up cooking for him, and despite the fact they ended up having a really good time, that is not the romantic gesture that needs to be reciprocated. Myself, on the other hand, was greeted with flowers, chocolate and wine, taken out for a lovely dinner, showered with compliments, and generally treated like a princess. So yes, i'm going to return the favour. I've ironed his shirt so we can go out tonight, and we're having steak, followed by the said sought after blowjob. Its only fair. Except i've never cooked a steak before in my life. I know how to, which counts, surely? This could be interesting. So for all the blokes eagerly anticipating steak and blowjob day, think back to Valentines day. If you did it right, you could be in for a treat. A fuck buddy or a casual thing? No way. She will only do this if you've shown her how much she means to you. At the end of the day, its a women's perogative. Happy steak and blowjob day guys!!

I went to go and see the aforementioned film yesterday, and i have to say, it left an impact. Not an 'i can't sleep' impact, but definatley a residue of uncertainty, rather like when you delete an item on a PC, so i'm told, and i'm definatley feeling out of my depth. Now i realise, surrounded by the uber-geeks, that i am dabbling in a very dangerous field- that is, computing. The general idea of the film, if you haven't seen the trailer (well worth a look), is that a killer determines how quickly his victims die by the number of hits on the website, where you can stream the killing live. A particularly poignant moment is when a man is in a tank of what is, essentially, battery acid, and watching the hit count explode, his killer says "if nobody was watching this, you'd be sat in a tank of water...but everyone is tuning in to watch you die." So many points raised in this film. First of all, what the net is coming to, where everything is so hardcore that we all watch more and more shocking videos in order to achieve just that, to be shocked, and there are many sites out there that prove just that..i don't need to name them.

University- A three year long party? The best years of your life? Or, as i am increasingly feeling, an uphill struggle of intellectual boredom intercepted with a large concern for your brain cells? I'll describe to you what set the barrell rolling. I woke up this morning, yet again, with a black cloud over my head. There is nothing wrong with my life here, in fact, on paper, it sounds ideal...except for the fact i am trapped, with absolutely nothing to do. Sounds perfect, doesn't it? This entire TERM, i have a 1,500 word essay to do. On management. And its pass/fail basis, so i could get 100% and the same mark as someone who gets 40%. Thats it. And its due on the 21st March. The other subjects? One essay due next term. And exams in may. Aside from making ridiculous numbers of notes for my exams 2 months too early, i have fuck all to do, ever. Do you want to know the irony? I'm failing.

Scuzz' rules suck. Basically, he's decided that we are now only allowed one post per day. Not one post per day EACH, but one post per day on this site. Period. Now, there are, what...at least 4 people posting on here? Mataspore, Berger, Scuzz and myself. That means we don't even get to post twice a week. (Edit: It's a pretty simple reason tbh, whats the point in having a 3 posts on one day, and then no updates for like...a week? Just change the date at the top of the entry field to queue up entries, its what the rest of us do. Scuzzmonkey) I apologise for having a lot on my mind that means i want to post more often, but having a good ramble means that i don't bore everyone in my non-virtual life. So, after my post gets bumped to Saturday, i get a bit annoyed. But i think, oh well, i'll come on here today and write. Except Scuzz has made the one allowed post. And its a video of a woman being punched in the cunt.
