I meant to post this earlier, and I could have sworn I had, but - evidently - I failed miserably, and thus today's update is pretty late. That said it could have been worse, and at least it's interesting.

I have no idea how I feel about this, half of me says it would be amazing, and the tech nerd in me is ready to marry it - however, I can't honestly seeing it working and/or being as immersive as they creators think. At the end of the day you're in a bubble, and if you do actually forget, and jump...well...you're going to remember pretty damn quick, and from that point on you'll stop thinking it's real.
Also, I've read far too many cyber-punk dystopia's to actually thinking this would be a good idea - don't believe me, read Snow Crash, or watch The Matrix - in the sense of creating a VR to replace social interaction, that, or there is only so much MSN can do, and I'd still prefer to be down the pub.
